Welcome to Lincoln, Maine, a peaceful place where the people are friendly! As of the last census, 5221 people called Lincoln home. That population figure hasn't changed much over the last few decades. There are over a dozen churches of various denominations in the greater Lincoln area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 74.8 square miles (193.9 km), of which, 67.9 square miles (175.9 km) of it is land and 6.9 square miles (17.9 km) of it (9.26%) is water. Lincoln is one of the largest townships east of the Mississippi River in the United States.

There are 13 (some would argue 14) lakes within the boundaries of the town, and the Penobscot River defines one of those boundaries. There's water everywhere, and our drinking water supply is one of the purest in the nation!

This is a beautiful area, and we invite you to take a tour with us on this site. Please come back often, as we will be updating the pictures and stories continually and you never know what you might find when you return!
