July 28 - When Mattawamkeag throws a party, everyone has fun! Just about everybody in town turned out for the Fun Day festivities today, along with folks from all around the area. Friendly people, live entertainment, great food and a parade - who could ask for a better way to spend a sunny, warm summer day?

We love bringing you Nice News, and taking a day just to have fun certainly sounds good to us! We've been covering the Mattawamkeag "Fun Days" since 2007, and it was great to meet and talk with many of the area folks who visit www.WelcomeToLincolnMaine.com regulary.
